8th Grade History Teacher

Duties and Responsibilities: Giving classroom presentations and individualized instruction, planning lesson, preparing and grading tests, maintaining classroom order, evaluating student performance, giving grades, and meeting with parents and administrators.

Salary: $57,200 (annually)

Education: You at least need a bachelor’s degree.

Demand for profession: 2014-2024 (6%)

Reflection: I would want to become a history teacher. It was my favorite subject in middle school, especially in 8th grade. I find U.S history very interesting. That is why I consider it one of my options.
