“ Don’t sacrifice what you want most for what you want now. Write down what you want most and see it often.”
-Peter Vidmar
I think what this means is that don’t let a small goal go between you and your biggest goal. For example, if you want to be a good basketball player. Your biggest goal is to practice and do good. What you want now is probably to go home and relax. But you can’t sacrifice what you want most for what you want now like Peter says. You need to be practicing a lot. You also need to put in a lot of effort to reach your goal. It’s like doing homework, but you get a text and get distracted. What you want most is to do your homework. But what you want now is to reply to the text. But, if you don’t sacrifice it, you can finish your homework and continue with the conversation. You need to choose what’s right.
