 This means that when you want to do something, you have to work for it. For example Kobe Bryant. When he was born, he wasn’t born an NBA player. He worked hard and practiced. He learned how to play basketball well and became one of the best basketball players in NBA history. Also Michael Jordan. He is considered the best basketball player ever. But it wasn’t always like that. When he was in high school, he got kicked out of the basketball team for not being “good enough”. But he practiced and put dedication into basketball. He learned by doing it. Things don’t just happen. You have to learn in order to do it correctly.

Reflection: I don’t think I would want to become an EMT, because I would stress out alot. Also, I can’t concentrate in a serious situation. It woule be too stressful for me.

Ear Nose Throat Doctor

Duties and Responsibilities: Ear, nose and throat doctors are responsible for surgical and medical treatment of the ear, nose, and throat, as well as the related head and neck areas.

Salary: $369,790 (annually)

Education: Apply to complete 4 years of medical school. During the last 2 years, you can take specialized coursework in otolaryngology.

Demand for profession: It is expected to grow at least 18% between 2012 and 2022.

Reflection: I don’t think I would like to become an ear nose and throat doctor. One reason is because they are responsible for surgeries. I think I would be scared to do surgeries.

“Obedience is central to becoming, being, and remaining happy.”

 What David Bednar is trying to say is that obedience is everything. Especially when it has to do with happiness. It is the central of being AND remaining happy. For example, if your obedient with your parents. You won’t have to be punished. But if you aren’t obedient, you’ll have to face the consequences. And if you’re not punished you’ll be happy. Student Services

 The mission of pupil services staff is to ensure that all LAUSD students are enrolled, attending, engaged, and on-track to graduate.LAUSD has a total of 10 tools and resources. One of them is on bullying information.

Reflection: I think it is a good idea that LAUSD has all of these resources just in case someone will need them. For example, the L.A public library resource.

    Choosing the right is just doing what your supposed to. Do what's expected of you. BUT what Alex Linares means is that choosing the right is basically to do the right. It is the right way to go. For example, if you are planning to doing something bad. Then you'll remember that choosing the right is always the thing to do, like Alex Linares said. Or if your already choosing the right.Then you are doing what your supposed to do. Just do what's right for you and everyone. Choose The Right!

Duties and Responsibilities: Dermatologists are physicians who treat conditions related to the skin.They may also treat disorders related to the hair and nails.

Reflection: I don’t think I would like to become a dermatologist. But I believe it is an interesting career.

Reflection: I would really like to become an immigration lawyer. I want to help people live/work  in the U.S. without having to worry about being deported. Also, so children that have parents who are immigrants won’t have to worry about being seperated from they’re family.

  This quote means that money isn't always everything. You could loose all that type of wealth within seconds. But the wealth you carry in you heart will always be with you. It will also be with the people, because of how you treat them. Because you have a wealthy heart. For example if your heart is wealthy, you'll always treat people right. Also, you'll be kind etc. People will always remember you as a nice person. But, for exampple if your wealthy in $, and you loose all of that people will remember you as the person that used to have everything, but now has nothing. Demand/need for profession: Dental assistants is projected to grow 18% from 2014 to 2024.

Reflection: I don’t think I would like to become a dental assistant. I think I would like to challenge myself more, since you basically only need a high school diploma. Also, I don’t like the idea of looking inside people’s mouth for a living.

    The quote means that if you do something bad, you'll probably feel bad about is. You can't fell happy about doing something bad. It is impossible according to him. For example, if you talk back to your mom. At the moment you think you didn't do anything bad. Later on you realize she is you mom and you need to respect her, Also, for example when someone steals something. At the moment they don't think they did anything bad. Later on they could start thinking about it. What if someone really depended on the object? Also, what if it had a special meaning to someone. Choose The Right!

Reflection: I don’t think I would like to become a dentist. 1st of all I don’t like the dentist so I wouldn’t enjoy working there. Also, I have planned on becoming an immigration lawyer.

  This quote means that what you do has an impact on how you feel. That's why Abraham Lincon said that when he does good, he feels good. But when he does bad, he feels bad. For example, if you study on the math test, there is a chance you do god on it. When you finally get it back, and you see a perfect score, your going to feel good. You are going to feel good, because you did good and studied for that test, and it finally payed off. But, if you do bad, for example if you cheat on a test. Yeah, you'll probably get a perfect score, but inside you know that you didn't work hard on it. It will make you feel bad because you choose bad. Choose The Right!

Demand for this profession: Employment of chiropractors is projected to grow 17% from 2014 to 2024.

Reflection: I think a chiropractor is an interesting job, but personally I wouldn’t want to become one. I would prefer to become a lawyer better. Also, I am not interested in anything on the medical field.

  The key to freedom is obedience is because if for example with your parents. They expect you to be obedient. If you are obedient you get more privileges. One privilidge can be for example freedom . If your being obedient and you ask your parents go out. They'll let you go because you are doing what your supposed to. But if you are not obedient it can lead to many consequences like loosing your freedom. For example, if your parents find out your doing something your not supposed to, then there can be consequences. One of them is loosing your freedom. That's why Boyd K. Packer says that the key to freedom is obedience. Choose The Right!

9/11 Memorials 

  On September 11, 2001 many lives were lost. That is the day the US got attacked by an Islamic terrorist group called al- Qaeda. Many lives were lost that day including the lives of firefighters and policemen. There was about 2,996 deaths. That includes the 19 hijackers that also lost they're lives.In 3 days it is going to be 15 years of the attack. I think 9/11 is a day to remember the people that passed away.Also the firefighters and policemen that put their lives at risk to help the people that were trapped in the towers. As we all know, when the towers got hit, they both collapsed. Now there is a memorial in the same place where both towers were at. The memorial is called World Trade Center.

  This quote means to just be obedient. It is like a test life gives you. You have to always be obedient. You need to be obedient especially to your parents. For example, when they ask you for help. You obviously have to do it. That's being obedient. An example of not being obedient is when they ask you to do something but you don't do it.
