"If you do what's right, if you live the right way, you'll be taken care of."
Rachel Castillo
In my opinion this is somewhat true.  What this means is that if you do right things, your guaranteed to be safe/taken care of. It may be true sometimes, but you never know what's going to happen. Innocent people don't choose to be at the wrong place at the wrong time. We've seen many incidents where innocent people have been doing the right thing, but end up being victims.  It's just life. You can't predict what will occur. It's always right to do the right thing. Also, it may be a good way to start being taken care of. But no one is guaranteed to be safe.

“Right is right only when entire.”
-Victor Hugo
What this means is that if you’re going to try and do something right, do it completely. Don’t just do things halfway. For example if you go to a friends house. That day your friend invited you to eat to in-n-out. After that, he offered drugs and you accepted them. After all of that you go home. Your mom asks you what you did. You tell her what you did, but not the part about the drugs. They partially lied. They didn’t entirely tell the truth. That makes it not right at all.

“Associate yourself with men of good quality if you esteem your own reputation; for ’tis better to be alone than in bad company.”
-George Washington

What this means is that if you want to be a good person, you have to surround yourself by good people.  You’ll eventually turn out like them. If you are associating with good people , then you’ll be fine. If you are hanging out with bad people, then you should be worried of how you’ll turn out to be. You should consider new friends. If you hang out with people who always give you positive advice, then you will do good. If you hang out with people who do drugs, you’ll most likely do drugs too. Like George Washington said, it’s better to be alone than in bad company. You have to choose your friends wisely. Choose The Right!

CP3
Chris Paul played in North Carolina where he was born. Now he’s a point guard for the LA Clippers. His biggest motivation was his grandfather. One day he got a scholarship to Wake Forest close to his grandfather’s store. His grandfather was next to him that day. The next day, Chris Paul received terrible news. His grandfather was murdered. On his next game Chris decided to make a goal in memory of him. He said he was going to make 61 points representing the age of his grandfather. It seemed impossible at first, but he achieved his goal.

“In life as in football, you won’t go far, unless you know where the goalposts are.”
  • Arnold H. Glasgow
What this means is that need to create your own path in order to know where you’re going. Before walking somewhere, you need to know where you’re walking to. For example in a football game. You need to know where the goalpost is. If you don’t know where it is at, then there is no point of playing. You need a goalpost to win a game. So it’s the same thing in life. You need to plan in the present. That way, you’ll have a vision of what your future looks like. That is why our life planning goals journal is important.
